چکیده
The recent outbreak of the highly contagious coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by novel SARS-CoV-2 has created a global health crisis with socioeconomic impacts. Although, recently, vaccines have been approved for prevention COVID-19, there is still an urgent need discovery more efficacious and safer drugs especially from natural sources. In this study, number quinoline quinazoline alkaloids antiviral and/or antimalarial activity were virtually screened against three potential targets development COVID-19. Among seventy-one tested compounds, twenty-three selected molecular docking based on their pharmacokinetic toxicity profiles. results identified inhibitors. Three them, namely, norquinadoline A, deoxytryptoquivaline, deoxynortryptoquivaline, showed strong binding to targets, main protease, spike glycoprotein, human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. These therefore promise being further investigated as possible multitarget

Melanin concentrating hormone receptor 1 (MCHR1), a crucial regulator of energy homeostasis involved in the control of feeding and energy metabolism, is a promising target for treatment of obesity. In the present work, the up-to-date largest set of 181 quinoline/quinazoline derivatives as MCHR1 antagonists was subjected to both ligand- and receptor-based three-dimensional quantitative structure...
متن کاملStructure Evaluation of IroN for Designing a Vaccine against Escherichia Coli, an In Silico Approach
Introduction: Some strains of Escherichia Coli, including intestinal pathogenic strains, commensal strains, and extra intestinal pathogenic E. coli (ExPEC) have a significant impact on human health status. A standard vaccine designed based on conserved epitopes can stimulate a protective immune response against these pathogens. Additionally, enhanced expression at the infection site as a pathog...

The coronavirus disease-2019(COVID-19) was reported in Wuhan, China, in late December 2019 and soon became the most serious global health challenge due to high rate of human-to-human transmission. The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2), is a single-stranded RNA virus and belongs to the large Coronaviridae family. Paclitaxel, an antineoplastic drug extracted from the Tax...
